Seussical Flyer

Pine City High School is gearing up for an exciting theatrical treat this fall with their production of "Seussical." This whimsical musical, directed by Becky Schueller, is set to captivate audiences with its contemporary reimagining of Dr. Seuss's beloved tales.

The musical unfolds in the Jungle of Nool, where the mischievous Cat in the Hat, played by Elijah Kallberg, guides the audience through a world of imagination. The story centers on Horton the Elephant, portrayed by Greyson Johnson, as he strives to bring harmony to the jungle, accompanied by a cast of colorful characters, including Gertrude McFuzz, Mayzie La Bird, and the Grinch.

Pine City High School will host a special senior citizen matinee on Thursday, November 9th, at 9:15 am. Additionally, there will be three public performances on November 10th and 11th at 7:00 pm, and a Sunday matinee at 2:00 pm on November 12th.

Tickets are available for purchase starting October 23rd at various locations, including the Pine City High School, Community Education Office, and Pine City Chamber Office. General admission tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for K-12 students outside the Pine City School District, and free for Pine City High School students with their School ID or StudentVue login. Pine City Elementary students can also attend for free with a paid adult ticket.

In a special community outreach effort, Pine City Community Education will host the Senior Citizen Matinee on November 9th, offering a delightful pre-show breakfast to foster connections between the school and the senior community.
