Joel Hogberg: This year I am entering my 18th year as a math teacher, my first as a Dragon! While I have been a part of the Pine City community for 7 years now, I have been a teacher, instructional coach, and MTSS coordinator in Hinckley throughout that time. I now get to join my wife, Jamie (5th grade teacher), and my 4 boys in the district. I enjoy fishing, hunting, camping, and watching my kids’ endless sporting events.

Pine City is pleased to introduce Joel Hogberg, a seasoned math teacher embarking on his 18th year in education, with his inaugural year as a Dragon. Having been a teacher, instructional coach, and MTSS coordinator in Hinckley, Joel brings a wealth of expertise. His connection to the Pine City community spans 7 years, and now he joins his wife, Jamie, a 5th-grade teacher, alongside their four boys in the district. Beyond the classroom, Joel's passions include fishing, hunting, camping, and actively supporting his children in their various sporting endeavors. The Hogberg family adds a dynamic touch to our educational community.
